Corrections Policy
Transparency in Error
At The Bengali, we believe that transparency is the foundation of trust. While we strive for perfection, we recognize that errors can occur. When they do, we are committed to correcting them quickly and transparently.
How We Handle Corrections
When a significant error is identified in any of our published content, we will issue a correction that clearly states:
- What information was incorrect.
- What the correct information is.
- The date and time the correction was made.
Placement of Corrections
Corrections are typically placed at the bottom of the article. For major errors that change the fundamental understanding of a story, we may place the correction notice at the top of the article or issue a separate statement.
Reporting an Error
We welcome feedback from our readers. If you believe you have found an error in our reporting, please contact our editorial desk immediately at:

Updates and Clarifications
For developing stories, we may update articles as new information becomes available. In these cases, we add an "Updated" timestamp. If an update involves a correction, it will be noted as such.
